Details
KMC's X9 in a titanium nitride gold coating. Harder wearing than plain steel and it looks the part. Fits either way round, X-Bridge plates for clean shifts. Gold MissingLink in the box. 114 links, 288 g.
Why hot wax?
Drip lube is wet, so it picks up grit and grinds it into the chain. Hot wax dries solid and polishes smooth, so dirt can't get in. The chain runs quieter, saves a few watts, and lasts several times longer, and so do your cassette and chainrings.
