What the £99 Silver covers
Most “silver” services stop at adjustments. Mine includes a full drivetrain clean and a bike wash, the headset and wheels checked and trued, and the same person on your bike from start to finish. Usually back in 1–2 days.
My guarantee
All workshop labour is guaranteed for 30 days. Hand-built wheels are re-tensioned and trued free for 12 months. If something I've done isn't right, bring it back and I'll put it right.
Who's working on your bike
Me. I've been in bike workshops all my working life and servicing bikes here in Canewdon since 2012. Nothing leaves that I wouldn't happily ride myself.

Kids' bikes take a lot of knocks and get outgrown fast, so they need checking more often than you'd think. I'll tell you what needs doing before I do it.
A grow-with-me adjustment (saddle, handlebars and brake reach) is free with any kids' service.
Family price: 10% off when you book two or more kids' bikes together. Just mention it when you book and I'll take it off the bill.

Collection & return
I collect from your door and bring the bike back when it's done. One price covers both trips. I cover Rochford, Rayleigh, Hockley, Ashingdon, Canewdon, Hawkwell, Hullbridge and Stambridge.
Outside those areas? Choose collection anyway. The booking gets flagged, I check it, and I confirm by email before anything is arranged.

Questions
Please do not turn up for parts. I work from a small workshop in a residential area, and I am not a shop, so I do not sell things like inner tubes over the counter. Order online and I will post it, or choose collection and I will email you when it is ready. For a service or repair, book it and bring the bike in, or I can collect it.
I collect and return across Rochford District: Rochford, Rayleigh, Hockley, Ashingdon, Canewdon, Hawkwell, Hullbridge and Stambridge. Collection and return costs £30 for both ways. If you're just outside the area, book anyway and I'll confirm whether I can reach you.
No. If I find something beyond the booked service, I send an estimate to My Shed with photos and notes. Nothing extra is done until you approve it.
No. Service prices cover labour. Any parts needed are estimated first and only fitted once you approve them. I'm happy to fit parts you supply too.
When your bike is ready you'll get an invoice in My Shed. You can pay securely by card through Stripe or with PayPal. I never see or store your card details.

Travers Bikes is an authorised Garbaruk distributor. I order Garbaruk parts in for you when you buy, and they usually arrive in about three weeks. I'll email you when your order ships.
