Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to book a service and buy from Travers Bikes. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA. We've checked the site ourselves and we keep improving it, but we haven't had a formal independent audit yet.

What we've done

• The site works with a keyboard, and the current position is always visible.
• Buttons and form fields have labels, and errors say what to change.
• Text is high contrast. You can choose the dark or light look in My Shed.
• It works on a phone, with large tap targets.
• Photos of products have descriptions, and videos come from YouTube, which offers captions.

Known problems

• Some old Journal posts (imported from our previous website) have photos without a full description.
• Some technical drawings and supplier product photos are images only.
• The booking calendar and wheel builder are interactive tools. If you can't use them, book by email or WhatsApp and we'll do it for you.

If you can't use part of the site, email info@traversbikes.com or message us on WhatsApp from the Contact page. Tell us the page and what went wrong, and we'll fix it or help you another way, usually within 5 working days.
