Delivery and shipping
I post from the workshop in Canewdon, near Rochford, Essex, to the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.
What it costs
- The price is worked out from live courier prices when you put your postcode or country in the basket, so you see the exact figure before you pay.
- UK delivery starts from £4 for small parts.
- Free UK delivery on orders over £200.
How long it takes
- In stock: packed and posted within 1 to 2 working days. You get an email with the tracking.
- Made to order: Garbaruk parts about 3 weeks, Nextie rims about 6 weeks, a hand-built wheel about 7 weeks. The page for each item says so. An order with a made-to-order item is sent when everything has arrived.
- Wheels and frames are paid half when you order and half when they are ready to send.
Ordering from outside the UK
- UK VAT comes off orders going abroad.
- Your own country charges import VAT and duty. At checkout you can pay these up front, which I recommend: the courier then asks you for nothing at the door. Or you can pay them when the parcel arrives.
- I fill in the customs paperwork, and you get the tracking number by email.
Collecting from the workshop
Choose collection in the basket and I email you when your order is ready. I work from a small workshop in a residential area and I am not a shop, so please wait for that email before you come.
If something goes wrong
If a parcel is late, damaged or wrong, email info@traversbikes.com with your order number (and a photo if it is damaged) and I will sort it out. Cancelling and returns are on the returns page.
