Try before you commit

Test bikes are based near Southend. MTB, plus and fat bikes can be ridden at Hadleigh Park, home of the 2012 Olympic mountain bike course; road and gravel bikes over an agreed local route.

Which bikes and sizes are available to ride changes from week to week, so tell us what you have in mind and we'll confirm what we can bring.

What to bring

Photo ID and a chip-and-PIN debit or credit card, which we'll verify with a 1p charge and hold until the bike comes back. You'll fill in a short form. Helmets must be worn — let us know if you need one.
