This single-wall carbon fiber fat-bike rim, the Xiphias 120-24, was designed and developed in 2024. It is super light, only 600g in weight. Its design concept refers to our well-known Wild Dragon double-wall fat-bike rim. It is strong due to the stable construction of its triangular cross-section. To make the wheel assembly more perfect, the spoke holes of the rim are drilled at an angle. Both the axial direction angle and the radial direction angle are 8 degrees. The tire size for this model of rim is recommended at 5" ~ 6.5". The tire pressure is recommended at 3 ~ 10 psi.

This Xiphias 24" 120mm rim is mainly designed to support Surly's newly released fatbike, the Moonlander 2.0. Installing the Xiphias wheels not only reduces the weight of the whole bicycle, but also improves the overall riding experience. This new rim will be a perfect match for the Surly Molenda 24 x 6.2" tire. With such a Moonlander 2.0 and equipped with Xiphias 120mm tires, you can pump the tires to ultra-low tire pressure and experience new terrain you have never ridden before. Think rocky dunes, creeping shorelines, frozen beaches, and sinuous stretches of snow.

The 114mm internal width fits more forms of cycling and keeps the ride stable.

The deep channel helps you easily install and remove a tire.

The small bead socket locks the tire tightly and helps it run tubeless perfectly.

The aero roof surface (triangle-like shape) easily sheds dirt or mud, reducing weight during cycling.

The inherent stability of the triangular cross-section keeps the rim performing strongly.
