Ocean 45G is a new carbon fiber bicycle rim we designed for gravel bicycle. The rim's special surface simulates the natural texture of the ocean waves crashing onto and covering the beach, so we named it Ocean. The natural texture design of the ocean waves is not only for visual beauty, but also to disrupt the wind resistance on the surface of the rim when riding, so as to achieve the purpose of increasing riding speed. In order to reduce weight and increase strength, we added high tensile strength Toray T1000 carbon fiber material when developing this rim, making the impact strength reach a result of the amazing 120J.

1. Material Upgrade: Toray T1000 Aerospace Grade Carbon Fiber Added, Rim Gets Lighter.

The Ocean 45G rim is our Supreme Edition carbon rim. During its development, we incorporated Toray T1000 carbon fiber, enabling it to achieve remarkable impact strength while maintaining a light weight. As is widely known, Toray T1000 has higher tensile strength than both the T700 and T800 carbon fiber models.

2. Rim Surface Spoiler and Aesthetic Improvement Design: Ocean Waves Covering the Beach.

The Ocean 45G rim is the second carbon fiber road rim of special appearance we developed, besides the Ripple 50 rim. It simulates the natural texture of ocean waves crashing onto and covering the beach. This appearance is not only for visual beauty, but also to disrupt the wind resistance on the surface of the rim when riding, so as to achieve the purpose of increasing riding speed. In addition, we found that this special appearance seems to improve the rim's stiffness in the impact test.

3. Newest Layer-up Structure: All-wrapping Technology for Main Carbon Fiber Structure Make Rim Stronger.

All-wrapping Technology (AWT) for main carbon fiber structure applied on Ocean 45G rim further improves the stability and stiffness. AWT ensures the integrity of the carbon fiber material, thereby ensuring the rim's stability and stiffness. AWT is also applied on our road bike rims of Alpha series and Ocean series.

4. Highly Strict Technical Test Methods — 120J (UCI test condition).

We applied the UCI test conditions to test Ocean 45G carbon rim. The impact test result was 120J, which is a super high value for a road bike rim, which is so much higher than the UCI's qualified strength standard for road bicycle rims.

This rim could be used for Road. Triathlon. Cyclocross. Dirt. Gravel and Adventure riding.. The tire size for this model of rim is recommended at 29 ~ 55mm Road / 29 ~ 40mm Cyclocross / 29 ~ 62mm Gravel. The tire pressure is recommended at 28 ~ 89psi Road / 24 ~ 53psi Cyclocross / 26 ~ 78psi Gravel.
