Introduction
The carbon fiber bicycle industry has been innovating and advancing all the time. Being lighter and stronger has always been the pursuit of the professional bicycle industry,
In the year of 2017, we first tried to use Toray T800 carbon fiber material and to improve the production process, reducing a weight of 60g for the XC mountain rim, which is a huge improvement. In the year of 2022, we developed this model of rim NXT29XML38. The design of this model inherited from our previous generation the Wild Cat NXT29WC38 which was well known before. We decreased the rim height to 26mm. The shallower height improves the toughness of the entire wheel and makes riding more comfortable. With the newest premium layer-up system applied on this rim, the strength increased a lot. For the AM version, the positive stiffness test result gets 120J. For the Enduro version, the result gets 132J. That's superb.
The weight of model NXT29XML38 is only 415g for AM and 445g for Enduro. The profile drawing of this rim is as below.
This rim could be used for AM (All Mounatin), Trail and Enduro riding. The tire size for this model of rim is recommended at 2.15" ~ 2.75". The tire pressure is recommended at 19 ~ 32psi.
