An EVO Prong on a titanium hardtail in Colorado

Titanium hardtail with a Travers EVO Prong carbon fork in Colorado
Dennis's titanium hardtail with a Travers EVO Prong carbon fork, leaning on a tree in Colorado

Dennis bought an EVO Prong from me a few weeks back. It went from Rochford to Colorado in under a week, and he has just sent over these photos of it fitted to his titanium hardtail.

His words: “Got the fork installed, brakes mounted and bled, and we're good to ride. Absolutely love the look of these forks on my titanium build.”

I had to agree. Matt black carbon against raw titanium is a good look, and the straight lines of the fork suit a rigid ti frame.

Front of the bike: EVO Prong fork, DT Swiss XM 1700 wheel and Schwalbe G-One Overland tyre

Nice parts on it too. From the photos: Chris King headset, Hope carbon bar and Tech 4 brakes, XTR cranks, DT Swiss XM 1700 wheels and Schwalbe G-One Overland tyres. A simple rigid bike with good kit that will last.

The brake hose runs inside the fork leg. Dennis asked about hose length before he started, so if you are fitting one yourself and not sure, email me first and I will tell you what you need.

He is going to write a fuller review once he has some miles on it, and I will post that here when it comes. If you have put an EVO Prong on your bike, send me a photo or two. I like seeing where they end up.

The EVO Prong: 680 g, Boost, internal hose routing, £399.
