Bontrager Twenty Four 12

What a result from Bontrager Twentyfour12 for the team over the weekend. First off, I would like to thank friends and family that help and put up with what were quite frankly vile conditions, preparing food, drinks, support and staying up for the whole 24hr period. Thank you.

Congratulations to Russ who came 5th in the solo male 24hr and 4th in the Vets..Russ was unlucky to miss the podium with 4 Vets in the top 5! Jo also on amazing form took the win in the Solo female 24hr Vets class and 2nd overall. Much respect to Jo who was in 3rd for much of the race but overtook her rival in the last hour, it would have been easy for her to settle for that in the horrendous conditions but she pushed on and did the extra lap to guarantee her position.

It has taken much dedication over the last 3 or 4 months to achieve these results with many hours in the saddle...kudos

Other results for the team were 21st place for Michael and Iain in the 12hr male pairs, 30th for myself in the solo 12hr and 20th for Rob in the Torchbearer 12hr solo
