Travers Bikes is an independent, rider-owned workshop in Rochford, Essex. It started in 2012 with hand-built titanium frames — the Rudy, the Fat Race and the Bat Fastard — and grew into a full service workshop trusted by riders across Rochford District.
Today we service and repair bikes of every kind, build wheels, design bespoke titanium frames and the EVO Prong carbon fork, and distribute kLite dynamo lighting and Garbaruk drivetrain parts.
Hello, I'm Michael
I've been riding since I was 14 and I'm 53 now, so most of my life has been spent on a bike or underneath one. Before Travers I worked in and ran bike shops across this part of Essex. In 2012 I started Travers Bikes to do it the way I thought it should be done: properly, with no surprises, and with the same person seeing every bike through from check-in to handover.
That person is me. I check your bike in, I do the work, and I'll tell you straight if something isn't worth fixing. If I find something you didn't book in for, you get photos and a price in My Shed before anything else happens.
