The Travers Angus 29+ frame is featured in the Single Track on line website in the news today.
The winter is drawing close...well in the northern hemisphere it is anyway and that means mud! Mud is well know to destroy bikes especially gears. That's why many people convert a bike into single speed.
The Angus 29+ is the ultimate winter mountain bike, it made from titanium so will never rust, you can just check it in the shed dirty. You can run 29er wheel in the winter so has massive mud clearance and 29+ wheel in the summer for the extra cushioning.
Best of it you can run it single speed or with Rohloff hub truly making this beast an all year round bike.
Not only that the Angus frame come with a Eccentric Bottom Bracket that we have been developing over the last year. Guaranteed not to slip or squeak, no expense has been spared with the unit being CNC cut from a single piece of solid aluminum. The bearing simply press directly into the shell so can be easily replaced. The unit can be adjusted easily then clamped into place with 2 meaty allen bolts.
Some factory shots of the new carbon "Prong 29" fork. Designed from the ground up by Travers Bikes to work seamlessly with our titanium Rudy 29er, Rudy Fat 29+ and Angus 29+ frames, as well as other brands of frame if you must!
The fork has been tuned to give an even more forgiving and buzz reliving ride with a unique fork leg profile.
You can find more information and how to pre order the fork (for delivery 01/09/14) on the "Prong 29" page.
