Travers Bikes is a small company...its just me and that means not only do I get to do all the cool stuff, designing and riding prototypes, meeting cool people and playing with cool kit I also have to do all the mundane stuff. Over Christmas with the down time I took the opportunity to create lots of boxes for the forks.
John has written a short blog marking his first 2000 miles on his Travers Angus 29+
His stunning Rohloff is still working perfectly.
I have been sent these 2 photos of customers builds.
The first a Rudy Fat from Holland, Kim has has the frame for nearly a year and as you can tell the are getting on nicely.
The second is a brand new build. The Mongo is a 27.5 enduro based frame that can handle 160mm forks.
Stuart from Flitch Bikes popped round earlier with the Travers Bike 29+ tandem. Its nearly finished just waiting on Middleburn cycle components for the stoker chainset and me for the CR29 carbon rims.
You probably know if you have been looking for them that 29+ tyres are still quite hard to get hold of. The next batch of Maxxis Chronicles will be in stock early March 2015, we have secured 20 on this batch which you can pre-order now to be assured of getting yours.
