Online Entries open 01/01/23

Categories

What are the Age Categories?
The cut off for all ages is 00:00 1st January 2023

i.e. If you want to ride in the Under 7 category - You still need to be 6 at the stroke of midnight

Male/Female Ride together (in categories below)
Under 7 - Riders Born since 2016
Under 9 - Riders Born Between 2014 - 15
Under 12 - Riders Born between 2011 - 13
If you enter a rider for any of the above races, you just need to do it once, the riders entry will be carried forward to all rounds (whether they intend to ride them or not). There will be a drop down menu asking if you have a number board, enter no for your first round entry and then select yes on other entries.

Male/Female Ride together (in categories below) - Race is run at same time as Female Adult Race
Juvenile - Riders Born between 09 - 10
Youth - Riders Born between 07 - 08

Adult (Male and Female) Categories Explained
In 2023 the categories have evolved a little, for 2 reasons, the massive increase in rider numbers in 2022 and to open up the series to new riders who have never raced before.

Change 1 - The introduction of a Male/Female Fun category, it's open to anyone new to the sport. To keep the entry price down there will be no prizes or overall series awards and the race distance will be shortened to 45 mins + 1 Lap (roughly 1hr total).
Change 2 - The Female Fun category will be run at the same time as the other female categories starting 15 minutes later. The Male Fun Category and League 2 riders will have their own race, meaning you will not be on course at the same time as the faster Elite and League 1 riders.

Women's Categories -
Born before and including 2006
Elite - Competitive riders
L1 - Race regularly with a good level of skill
Fun - Great place to start,  you are just out to have fun and learn from others

Men's Categories -
Born before and including 2006
Elite - Competitive riders
L1 - Race regularly with a good level of skill
L2 - Love to rub elbows and race, but also have fun
Fun - Great place to start,  you are just out to have fun and learn from others
