Warranty
Travers Bikes will replace or repair any Travers Bikes frame that we deem to have failed due to manufacturing defects within the time period indicated for that frame.
Any components not produced by Travers Bikes or branded Travers bear their own manufacturer's warranty. Any claims on these components should be directed to said manufacturer's service department.
Stickers or any finishing products is covered for 1 year for manufacturing defects, scratches or fading is classed as general wear and tear and is not covered by the warranty.
Warranty coverage on Travers titanium bicycle frames extends to 5 years, from the date of purchase for the original purchaser only. Carbon forks are covered by a 1 year warranty.
Travers branded carbon components are covered by a 1 year warranty, from the date of purchase for the original purchaser only.
Travers branded titanium components are covered by a 1 year warranty, from the date of purchase for the original purchaser only.
Carriage charges to or from Travers Bikes will be refunded if there is a valid warranty claim.
Proof of purchase via Travers Bikes or an Travers Bikes approved dealer is required together with completion of the warranty registration form (within 30 days of purchase) to validate protection.
This warranty does not cover improper installation of components (cross threading bottom bracket etc) or damage caused by poor maintenance. Damage caused by crashes, collisions or general wear and tear, abuse or misuse is not covered by the warranty. Travers bikes frames are not designed for jumping or stunt riding and the warranty does not cover these activities.
No cash alternative to warranty repair / replacement.
Travers Bikes liability under this warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of the non-compliant Travers Bikes products and under no circumstances will Travers Bikes be liable for incidental or consequential losses, damages or expenses (including but without limitation damage to property or other economic losses) whether under this warranty or in contract or negligence or otherwise.
This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising.
How to make a Warranty Claim
Contact your nearest Travers Bikes Dealer or contact Travers Bikes directly via email initially to get a returns warranty number. We will then send you shipping details and instructions on how to package the frame.
When contacting us regarding a warranty claim please also include your phone number, address, email and description of the problem plus a copy of the original receipt.
The Warranty is only applicable to the original owner and must be presented with the original receipt. The Warranty card must be returned within 30 day of the purchase to validate the Warranty.
