WRRS ’26 | Women’s Rookie Race Squad

The Women’s Rookie Race Squad returns for the final two rounds of the MTB East 2026 series at Potash Wood, Rochford.

Designed to support and encourage female riders who are new to racing, WRRS provides the opportunity to build confidence, improve skills, and experience race weekends with guidance from qualified coaches in a supportive group environment.

Riders who enter at least one of the final two MTB East races will have access to:
• A 2-hour coaching session at Hadleigh Park on a Saturday morning ahead of race weekend  
• An exclusive coach-led pre-ride of the race course on the day before racing

'To encourage more women into the series and to try mountain biking in general we (myself, Kevin and Dan) organised a local MTB ride. Sadly the weather didnt play ball, it was quite muddy but hopefully those that did come out enjoyed it and will come out again.
